By using the Pa Pa Paa teaching website, you signify your agreement to abide by these terms of use, including the privacy policy below. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please do not use this site.

Ownership

This is the website for Comic Relief’s Pa Pa Paa teaching resources and all elements of the site are the property of Comic Relief. This site, including its name, trade marks, design, text, graphics and their selection and arrangement, is and remains owned by Comic Relief. Third party owned copyright materials may be included on the site from time to time. Dubble is the trade mark of Divine Chocolate Limited.

Use of materials

Where we indicate that you may download materials from this site, you may only download and use them for your personal use or, if you are a teacher, as part of your teaching resources.

You may not download or alter any materials from this site unless we have clearly indicated that you may do so. You are not allowed to sell any of the materials from this site to third parties or use them for personal gain or commercial purposes. Any alterations of material or any other improper use of anything on this site are strictly prohibited and a violation of Comic Relief's rights.

Comic Relief is not responsible for outdated or offensive content or broken links on any third party sites linked to or from this site.

Responsibility for use

Comic Relief is not responsible for any damage that may occur to your software or hardware from downloading anything from this site. All software provided by third parties (such as Acrobat Reader) is the responsibility of the third party supplier and any complaints regarding the software in question should not be directed to Comic Relief. You may not distribute, sell or transmit any software from this site and you are not permitted to alter, modify or adapt the software (including translating, decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling or creating derivative works of it). No responsibility can be accepted for users unable to access the site or any parts of it because of technical faults, internet connection problems or anything outside the reasonable control of Comic Relief.

Unlawful use

By using this site, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes, and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of any third party or inhibit the use or enjoyment of this site by any third party. You agree to abide by applicable laws, regulations and codes of conduct and to be solely responsible for all things arising from your use of this site. You agree not to publish, distribute or otherwise transmit any defamatory, offensive, infringing, obscene, indecent or otherwise unlawful or objectionable material.

Actions for unauthorised use

In the event that Comic Relief considers that you have breached these terms of use or otherwise demonstrated inappropriate conduct in using this site, Comic Relief reserves the right to: warn you via email that you have breached these terms of use and ask you to discontinue such conduct; delete any material or content which you post to this site; discontinue your membership of the site and/or of any other related subscriptions to services; and take measures to prevent you from using or linking to the site (including terminating, suspending or restricting your use of the site).

General

Any action that we take is without prejudice to our accrued rights. If any provision of these terms of use is held to be void or unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms of use and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

Governing law

These terms of use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Revisions of these terms of use

Comic Relief reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time. You will be bound by any such revisions and should therefore visit this page from time to time to review the then current terms of use.

Terms & Conditions of Sale

The following terms and conditions apply to orders for the Pa Pa Paa DVD and photo packs (in addition to the Terms of Use). By placing an order you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions as governing your order.

Purchasing

To purchase goods from Comic Relief, please complete and submit the order form by post as requested, or telephone the order line.

Your order is an offer to buy the goods on these terms and conditions. We will send you an invoice confirming receipt of your order. Our invoice is our acceptance of your offer to buy the goods. Education Distribution Service (EDS) will process your payment on our behalf.

The supply of goods is subject to availability. You may only order goods if you are 18 or over and UK resident.

Prices and Payment

All prices are charged in sterling and are inclusive of any VAT.

For orders by post, please make cheques payable to ‘Comic Relief Education Distribution Services’. We do not accept cash or postal orders.

For telephone orders, we accept all major credit and debit cards, except American Express, Solo and Electron.

Delivery

We will aim to deliver your goods as soon as we are able. Please allow 21 days for delivery.

If you live outside mainland UK, we may not be able to deliver to you or we may have to charge extra postage and package. We will contact you if this is the case. We do not deliver to PO Boxes.

Cancelling your Order

You have a statutory right to cancel your order within 7 working days of delivery by notifying us in writing.

Your right to cancel does not apply: to DVDs (if you have unsealed them), or to goods you have used (and are therefore not in a saleable condition), or if you are purchasing in the course of your profession or trade.

To cancel your order and claim a refund, write to us at the address below within 7 working days from delivery, heading your letter “Order Cancellation” and providing your name and contact and order details.

If your goods have already been delivered, return them to the address below, securely packaged and in a saleable condition.

If you are writing to cancel before delivery, we will try to cancel the order before it is despatched, but may be unable to do so. If the goods are delivered, you still need to return them as set out above.

If you do not return the goods, we have the right to collect the goods and charge you for the full cost of doing so.

We will refund the purchase price to you (including the original postage and package we charged you). You are responsible for your costs for returning the goods and this cannot be refunded.

We are unable to cancel any orders after the 7 working day period unless the goods are faulty (see below). Your right to cancel is separate from your other statutory rights.

Faulty Goods

If any goods ordered from us are faulty, please return them as soon as possible to the address below, securely packaged.

If we find the goods to be faulty and you have returned them within a reasonable period, we will refund the purchase price (including the original postage and package we charged you), and your postage and package costs (for standard recorded delivery) for returning the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Liability

Comic Relief shall not be liable:

• if we are unable to carry out our obligations (including any delays) due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control;
• for any indirect or consequential losses, or for any business losses (including loss of profits, data, anticipated savings, goodwill or wasted expenditure) you may suffer as a result of any negligence or breach of these terms and conditions.

We do not limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Privacy policy

Statement of intent

Comic Relief may ask you to submit personal information about yourself (such as your name and email address) in order for you to receive or use services provided by or for Comic Relief. The services include newsletters and competitions, message boards, personalised services and receiving further information relating to Comic Relief.

Whenever you provide personal information we will treat that information in accordance with this privacy policy. Comic Relief will act in accordance with current legislation and aims to meet current Internet best practice.

Submitting personal information

When you supply any personal information to Comic Relief, Comic Relief has legal obligations towards you in the way we deal with that personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998:

• We must collect the information fairly.
• We must let you know how we will use it.
• We will not supply your personal data to third parties without first obtaining your consent, unless we are obliged by law to do so. Please note that if you provide information to allow us to deliver services or goods that you have requested, we may pass this information to our fulfilment chain solely to allow them to deliver the goods and services you have requested.
• We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you use any service that you have requested, and remove it in the event that the purpose has been met, or you inform us that you no longer wish to receive the service in question.
• We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Users under 18

If you are under 18, please get your parent or guardian's permission before you provide personal information to the Pa Pa Paa website. Users without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information.
